Aki Ajo announced as KTM MotoGP team manager


KTM has introduced that Aki Ajo will take up the function of crew supervisor at its manufacturing facility MotoGP squad from subsequent season.

The Finn will step away from his present place as head of his personal Ajo Motorsport Moto2/3 crew in favour of helming KTM’s efforts within the premier class.

Ajo comes on board rather than present KTM Manufacturing unit Racing crew boss Francesco Guidotti, who was this weekend confirmed as leaving the team at the end of the season regardless of having a 12 months left to run on his contract.

Ajo arrives at KTM following immense success achieved at Moto3/125cc and Moto2 stage since Ajo Motorsport arrived within the grand prix paddock in 2001. Since then it has gone on to gather 10 riders’ titles in whole, 5 in Moto2 and 5 in Moto3/125cc.
