Francesco Bagnaia overcame Jorge Martin’s early problem to win the Malaysian Grand Prix, making a lightweight dent within the Spaniard’s championship lead as he completed second.
The pair duelled in spectacular vogue after manufacturing unit Ducati rider Bagnaia transformed his pole to a first-corner lead. So Martin in the end needed to accept second and 20 factors aboard his Pramac Ducati.
It means Bagnaia has reduce his deficit on the high of the factors desk to 24, giving him an opportunity of retaining his title for a 3rd consecutive 12 months on the Barcelona finale in two weeks.
